Installation & Ordering

 Plusaire® can only be install on a forced air system and will require access to an outside wall from the furnace room, it comes in 3 sizes to suit the size of your house. The exterior air intake vent needs to be 20 inches up from ground level to prevent snow cover from blocking the vent. If you have less than a 20 inch clearance you will require a snorkel to raise this to an appropriate level see snorkel in accessories.

 How do you decide which size would be right for your home? The calculation must include all floors of your home including the basement whether or not it is finished or heated and all ceiling anomalies. This is important as the sizing is based on the cubic feet of air space in the house that is creating the pressure levels. If your house exceeds 5500 square feet custom units are available, but houses over 4000 square feet usually have more than one furnace. If your house has more than one furnace divide the total sq ft by two and choose two Plusaire units for that size. For very large houses there needs to be a Plusaire unit for each furnace in the house.
